How to Create Favorite Filters and Views #
When working with the Noverstock system, specifically with the order list, it is often necessary to filter information based on certain criteria. This ensures that you see a list tailored to your specific requirements, making your work more efficient. In Noverstock, you have the opportunity to create your own filters and save them for future use. Additionally, you can save a customized view of the order list columns you frequently use in your work.
How to Create a Favorite Filter #
To create a favorite filter, follow these steps. The field for saving a filter is always located in the upper right corner above the table, whether it is for orders, products, listings, or warehouse movements.
- Firstly, create a filter on the columns you want to be filtered based on a criterion of your choice.
- Click on “Saved Filters” and enter a name in the provided blank field.
- Click on the plus (+) sign to save the filter.
You can clear filters using the “Clear Filters” button, but the view you created will be available for subsequent filtrations. You can select it from the list of saved filters.
How to Create a Favorite View #
To create a favorite view, use the “Show/Hide Columns” button.
- Click the button to select columns to include in the view.
- A window will open, showing all columns on the left and visible columns on the right.
- Move columns between the left and right by selecting the corresponding column and using the arrow buttons.
- Use the arrow buttons to make columns visible or hidden. If made visible, the column will appear at the front of the list.
- To adjust the order of visible columns, use the buttons on the right, allowing you to drag and drop columns.
Once you have set up the columns you want visible and arranged their order, save the view by entering its name in the empty field on the right and clicking “Save.”
You can then select the saved view from the list on the left.
The “NS View” is the main view of the system. However, the system will display the last selected view upon re-entering, based on the view selected before exiting a module. For example, if the user selects the “Name” view in the order list, enters the products menu, and returns to the orders, the view will be “Name” again.
